GeoMedia Broadband Pty Ltd supplies many customers in Binningup with internet services ranging from dialup accounts to wireless internet, cable internet and now leading edge fibre to the home internet within the latest Lakewood Shores Estate.
GeoMedia has had an association with Binningup for many years now through general internet accounts and computer sales and service. However over the last couple of years GeoMedia has developed a strong working relationship with Lakewood Shores and their ongoing land development. This has seen GeoMedia become a fully licensed Telecommunication Carrier and the provision broadband services into the Binningup Community.
Currently we offer broadband services over the following platforms:
Cable Internet: GeoMedia supplies cable internet to all of Stage 2 in the Lakewood Shores Estate. This service runs down the same cable as the cable TV system, which GeoMedia also runs and maintains. The cable internet system is based on a Motorola leading edge product of which this is only one of a few currently running in Australia.
Wireless Internet: GeoMedia provides a wireless internet broadband service for all non Lakewood Shores Residents in and arround the Binningup area. This service is primarily based around the Motorola Canopy 900MHz product.
Fibre to the Home (FTTH): GeoMedia latest and greatest achievement. We are one of the very first in Australia to implement a full FTTH system utilising Emtelle's Blow Fibre Solution. This system not only provides high speed internet, local free to air television stations but will also deliver low level street surveillance, video on demand, IPTV and a local weather station.
